The area full of a dead body in the frozen air with there colorful cloth is known as a Rainbow Valley in Mount Everest. Basically, if someone dies high up in the Himalayas above 7,000m the will likely end up in Rainbow Valley. Death zone, which is the elevation of 8,500m (Just 500m below from the summit) Total death of 295 over 200 people have died in this area. And most of them died on the way to Camp IV after the summit. Anyone who didn’t make it to the summit or camp IV after the summit their body will likely end up in the Rainbow Valley.

What happens to their body

Well, Green Boots is a well known name of one of the corpses given a name by the climber in the Everest region. In 1996 an Indian climbers name Tsewang Paljor died at around 8,500m. After the summit on his way down to Camp IV, he was hit by a snowstorm. He died while trying to save himself hiding under the cave just right next to the climbing route. All those Tsewang Paljor is well known by his nickname as Green Boots because he was wearing green boots last he was seen alive.
